Enduring impression defence against transience
Ever since I moved to the medieval parts of Old Town Odense some five years ago, I have been window shopping at the clock and watchmaker on Overgade close to where I live. Some years ago I purchased my 1950s Giroxa Swiss wrist watch there. However, what I have yearned for the most is this one, a first generation of European made alarm clocks from Junghans. It is from around the last turn of the century and when opening it in order to wind it up, it has the original printed paper label behind the pendulum. Owing to my family-in-law, congratulating me for becoming a medical doctor, it is now under my ownership.
